NH PRIMARY DATE SET TO JANUARY 8th!

On voting day, it will be imperative to have people standing in shifts in front of the various polling places holding signs. Also, signs placed along the roads leading up to the polling places are also in order. In our case it's the Ross Lurgio Middle School on Nashua Road, Bedford and it starts at 6:30 AM.

For Bedford's one polling place, I plan to take the remaining 25 blue signs that I have to give people to hold. The 4 larger 2x4 signs can be used to hold also since they do not have stands that fit or they can be planted in the snow. I also have 3 4x8 signs unused that could be propped up in the snow quite easily.

This sign placement must be done early in the morning before the polls open or late the night before. The day of the vote, the key is getting a spot early and staying with it. I will try to park at least one car near to where people will be standing so people can warm their hands and feet from time to time. It is supposed to be 50 degrees so it should not be too bad.

If you are in Bedford, please contact me if you want to help. You can just come tonight and get signs. I was planning a little get-together at the Bedford Village Inn Tavern after the polls close, but I have been fighting pneumonia for the last week and don't know if I'm up to this. I am still very sick.
